THE S.A.I.D. PRINCIPLE
The SAID principle is an acronym for ‘Specific Adaptation to Imposed Demands.’ In layman's terms, this means that the brain and body will adapt to the stimuli that we give it as well as those demands that we place upon it. If we take this a step farther, we can say that the body and brain are CONSTANTLY adapting to the stimuli we provide. Your brain and body crave movement with good form, great posture, proper breathing and ample recovery. These are all concepts that we will talk about if you join us, because we understand that they are intimately ‘wired’ into your health and fitness results. This principle plays a role in programming at Strong Tower as we are passionate about helping clients progress in a safe, effective and life-enhancing manner.
You will get better at those things you practice. Schedule a free consultation and we hope to help you get better at being strong, flexible and pain-free INSTEAD OF weak, inflexible and in pain (as we see too often these days).
