The How and Why of Balance in YOUR Health, Fitness and Muscles

We have an exciting new tool to use for body composition testing at Strong Tower Fitness. The InBody 270 is now available for use and not only that, you’ll get to meet with one of our coaches who is trained in looking at the data with you and helping you understand it, as well as set some goals for any follow up tests. This device is accurate and being used in the medical industry. One application is its use in Cardiology. Here’s more on that:

Why is it being used in professional practice in medical as well as holistic care? Here are a couple benefits of testing with the InBody.

  1. The InBody analyzer gives you real and accurate numbers that reflect health and even have been tied to longevity in the research. These numbers include body fat percentage, lean body mass, basal metabolic rate, and even comparison of muscle in your right and left arm and right and left leg. We can do something really neat to correct muscle imbalances, if they do show up on an InBody scan. More on that later so check out the paragraph and VIDEO at the end of this article!

  2. The process is quick, painless and will store your personal data so that you are able to chart your progress over time.

  3. This gives you motivation and a focus point. You know you’re getting great, accurate information. You can see the comparison from left and right side of the body. What do muscle imbalances affect? Balance, strength, performance and function. These imbalances can also lend themselves to fueling and activation issues in different parts of the brain.
